The National Stallion Show 2008
For the 29th time the most important horse event in Denmark take place from the 13 to the 16 March 2008, at Exhibition Centre Herning in Jutland. In 2007 there was more than 53.000 visitors.
The National Stallion Show 2008 take place from March 13 to 16.

Beside the Stallion Grading Show you can see
- The National Championships for Young Horses,
- Competitions in both dressage and show jumping only between graded stallions and
the great performances in the Gala shows.
- You can choose between the show at Friday evening or the show at Saturday evening. The shows are identical both evenings.
- Saturday afternoon we have the stallion auction.
- Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings we have especially education-shows.
- The biggest exhibition in northern Europe
Verden in Germany is hosting the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses.
A total of 14 Danish Warmbloods are being shown at this prestigious show which also has CDI
competitions.

Danish Horses for Danish National Team Riders
The Top 3 at this year's Danish National Championship in dressage were won by Danish Warmblood Horses, and the national team who is to represent Denmark at the European Championships in Turin, Italy at the end of August, will consist of three Danish Warmblood horses and a single Danish Warmblood approved stallion.

Mix Max and Lars Holmberg was reserve champion at Markel USEF Young Horse Dressage Western Selection Trail for 6 year old horses May 25 - 27, 2007 Latest news: Mix Max is going to Verden in Germany the end of July to compete.
6th place at the 2007 FEI World Cup Final Dressage in Grand Prix Freestyle
The Danish Warmblood horse Maximus JSS and the rider Catherine Hadded became 6 at the FEI World Cup Final Dressage in Grand Prix Freestyle.
NADWA High Point Award at Festival of the Horse
Milano, the rider Kathleen Raine and owner Debi Brum. Milano was the winner of NADWA high point award at Festival of the horse.
Skovens Rafael, Price Highlight of the 2007 Danish Warmblood Stallion Auction

at the 2007 Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing Skovens Rafael became the price highlight in the auction of licensed and non-licensed stallions at the 2007 Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing in Herning, Denmark, on March 10, 2007. The auction was quite a sensation for the Danish Warmblood society as Skovens Rafael established a new knock down record price: 1,2 million Danish Kroner (161,285 euro). Denmark, DQH’s partner in Denmark purchased the Blue Hors Romanov x Blue Hors Don Schufro offspring from Swiss owner Protesta AG (Sven Kapp), who purchased Rafael at the Danish Warmblood Foal Auction for 75,000 DKK (10,000 euro). The stallion, who is bred by Jens Lund Pedersen and Kirsten B. Hansen, will stand at stud in Mors. "The horse has enormous potential to become one of the world's best dressage stallions," the new owners said. "He has a good bloodlines and is very rideable at the same time. In my opinion, Skovens Rafael has no weakness."
